AREA LOAN FU~D FOR COU~7Y SERVICE AREA N0. 82
WNEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Resolution No. 75~82,
estab79shed a Cou~ty Service Area ~oan RevoZving Fund; and
WHEREAS, Government Co~e §252~0.9c provides that a County may
appropriate any of its available mon~es to such fund in an amount not to exceed
$500,000.00; and
WHEREAS, said §252t0.9c further provides that said revolving fund
sha11 be reimbursed from monies made available from a benefiting service area
and that no sums sha11 be d~sbursed from the revolv~ng fund until the Board
of Supervisors has, by resolution, establ9shed a method by and term (not
exceeding five years) within whjch the County Service Area is to reimburse
the revolving fund, and specif~ed that the Service Area sha77 also reimburse
the funds for ~nterest at the current rate per annum received on similar ~ypes
of investments, as determined by the County Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, tfie B~tte County Board of Supervisors had determined that
there is a need to provide monies for County Service Area No. 82 to provide
emergency repairs to sewer iines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ~7 RESOLVE~ by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors that:
1. There is hereby appropriated, from the Coanty General Fund
Appropriatian for Contingencies to the County Service Area Revolving Fund,
the sum o~ $5,000.00,
2, The sum of $5,000.00 is to be disbursed from the Revo]ving
Fund to Gounty Serv9ce Area ~o. 82 to provide for emerneney repairs to sewer
lines.
3. The sum dis5ursed to County 5ervice Area No. 82 shall be
reimbursed by County Serviee Area ~a. 82 ~o fihe Revolving Fund according to
authorized statutes.
4. County Service prea No. 82 shall aZso re~mburse the Revolving
Fund for interest at a rate per annum ~qual ~o that earned by the County on
similar types of ~nvestments, as determined by the County Treasurer.
5. As the money is reimbursed to the Revoiving Fund by County
Serv9ce Area No. 82, the County Auditor ~s directed to transfer such money
from the Revoiving Fund to the County General Fund.
