PETITION TO ASANDON A PUBLTC UTILITY
EASEMENT AND RECREATIONAL EASEMENT
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Randall
Andreason and others requesting the abandonment of a public utility
easement and recreational easement as described below; and
WI-IEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall ser a date for
a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
l. That this Board hereby gives notzce that at its
regular meeting on ,Tanuary 19 , 198:2, at 10:00 a .m. , in ehe
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be ~eld on the abandonment of the
following described easement:
PPCC l, LOTS 63, THROCTGH 74 AND LOTS 95 T'HROUGH 112
Being that certain 20-foot publ.ic utility easement and
recreational easement and that certain 10-foot public
utility easement and recreational easement and those
certain five-foot public utility easemenCS lying within
a portion of Section 36, T23N, R3E, MDM, also being a
portion of Lots 63 through 74 and Lots 95 through 112,
as shown on the map of Paradise Pines Country Club
Estates Unit 1, recorded in Book 38 Maps of Record at
Pages 57 through 60, County of Bu~te, Sta[e of California,
being more particularly described as ftollows:
1. Being that certain 20-foot public utility easement
and recreational easement lyang 10-feet on each side of
and parallel with ~he lot line that runs beCween Lots
63 through 74 and Lots 95 through 108, beginning at the
most southerly corner of said Lot 63; ~hence N 30°29'23"W
223.99 feet; thence N 66°28'36"W 367.98 feet; thence N
55°21'32"W 176.04 teet; thence 44°10"44"W, I72.42 feet;
tk~ence N 19°02'16"W 72.24 feet; thence N 23°45'18"E
111.91 feet, excepting therefrom the 20 feet lying
within the 20-foot setback line.
2. Being that certain 10-foot public utility easement
and recreational easement lying westerly of and parallel
with the easterly ].ot line of I,ots 109 through 112,
beginning ati the sou~.heasterly corner of said Lot 112;
thence N 35°04'26"E 138.5~ feet; thence N 16°37'5l"E,
120.32 feet; thence N 10°46'05"W 1~9.68 feet to the
corner common to Lots 53 and 109.
3. Being those certain five-foot public utility
easements lying conti~uous to all side lot lines,
excepting therefrom the portions of said easemenrs
lying within the 20-foot setback line.
Said Map of Paradise Pines Country C~ub Estates Unit
1 is on file in the Butte County Department of Public
works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California.

2. That a map showing said portion of said public utility
easement and recreational easement to be abandoned is on file at ~he
Butte County Public Works Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville,
California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of Ca~ifornia
Streets and Highways Code.
