HomeMy WebLinkAbout815ORDINANCE ~~'- ~ ~ 5 1 2 3 4 s 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORIdIA, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NOS. ~75~ 522, AND 676 OF SAID COUNTY. mhe Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance Noo 47j of said County as amended by Ordin- an~e Noso 522 and 676, do ordain. as follows; , SECTIOI3 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the County of Butte, State. of California, shall be and is hereby zoned as an "PI-2" (Heavy Industrial) Di_striet as hereinafter described and subject to all the re- stricted uses applicable to the uses of.an "I~f-2" District. Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of ]3u.tte County south of the City of Chico.,. partic~xlarly,described as„follows: 1.1 Assessor Parcel No., ~0-02-~1 and 4.2 as spawn. by maps in the Office o£ the_County Assessor, first I4onday in March,. 1960_ 1.2 The East one thousand two hundred 1'1,200)feet (parallel to High- way 99E) of Assessor Parcel No. ~-0-02-40 and ~-3 as shown by maps in the Office of the County Assessor, first Monday in March, 196. The industrial enterprises which involve the bulk handling of products manufactured, treated, processed, or assembled on the premises, the dominant amounts of storage and. warehousing, the heavy trucking or use of heavy duty equipment, the heavy movement of traffic on the site and the,. generating of large amounts of automobile and truck traffic on the, adjacent streets, the noise~and vibration, sites larger than can be provided on normal sized lots, and similar charac- teristics and performance standards not detrimental s.n effect upon other uses of similar.nature in close proxim~ay. 2.2 Any use for prhich a Use. Permit is required in an "A.-2" District, upon application for and granting of a Use Permit. Penalty for any violatian,of the zoning hereby proposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance and in egmpliance with the provision of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall be from and after its effective date a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling 'Ordinance. SECTION $. In compliance with the_provisions of said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding. to Section $ thereof this Ordinance in full. . S$CTTON 6. This.
