ORDINANCE AMENDING COUNTY FERSONNEL ORDINANCE
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows:
That Section 2-36 shall be amended to read as follows:
'Section: 2-36
APPEALS COMMISSION
At the beginning of each fiscal year the Board of Super-
visors shall appoint an Appeals Commission consisting of
three persons to hear any appeal from discharge or demotion
which may be made by an employee who has regular status.
-When an appeal is made the commission shall conduct a hear-
ingo At the conclusion of the hearing the Commission shall
make an official finding whether or not the employee was
discharged or demoted for reasonable cause, The Appeal
Commission may make any appropriate recommendations it deem
advisable. The Commission's finding shall be a matter of
public record. Any action of the Appeals Commission shall
be final and not subject to judicial review.i'
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after thirty (30) days after its passage. The
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directs
to cause this ordinance to be published once in the
, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in the County of Butte, State of California, prior to
fifteen (15) days after its passage.
