RESOLUTZON GRANT~NG JURISDICTZON T~ THE CITY
COUNC~L OF THE CITY OF CHZCO ~N THE MATTER OF
N~RTHEAST CHTCO SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, C~TY
OF CHICO, BUTTE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
The Board o~ Supervisors a~ the County o~ Butte resolves:
Th~ City Council of the City of Chico, Cali~ornia, did
on the 15~h day of December, 198Z, adopt a Reso~ut.ion approving
amended boundary map, and a Resol.ution ~equesting ju.risdic~ion af
, the Butte County Board o~ Supervisors in connec~ion with North~ast
Chico Sewex Assessmen~ D~.strict, Ca.ty of Chzco, Butte County,
Ca~ifornia, which_resolution proposed the cflns~ruction o~ ceztai.n
improvements, and the City Council did, by adoption of said resoiu--
tion, request the consent of the Board of Supervisa~cs thereto.
This Board has previously granted ju~i.sdiction to the
Ch~.co City Counci~. by its ResaZution No, 80-234, adop~ted on
Nove~nber 4, 1980. Additi.onal pxoperties in the unincorparated ~~rritory
o~ tha Coun~y o~ Butte have petitioned the C~.ty to be included in
the Northeast Chico Sewer Assessr~ter~t Distr.~ct.
The pub~ic ~nterest and convenie~zce ~requ~are the znaking of
the zmprovement described in the Resol.ut.ion ~eques~ing ~uri.sdiction,
and in the inanner therein set forth, and that a1.~ o~ the ~ands incl.uded
wi~hin the assessment dis~tric-~ described in the propos~d a.m~nded
Resolutian af Intention will be benefited by the p~-apos~d a.mp~ovement.
This Board of Supervisors gi~es consen~ to the formation
a~ this assessment district desc~ibed in the proposed amended Resolu-
ti.on of zntention, ~o the making of th~ impro~crement therein described,
and to the assumption of jurisdiction by the City Council of the City
o~ Chico, But~e County, California, ~or alI purposes in connection with
, r'~~ ~~d~~~i~~;_~~
the ~ormatian of Northeast Chico Sewer Assessmen~ District, City of
Chico, Butte County, California, and the making of the improvem~nt,
znc~uding a~l ~evy~ng, co~~ecting and en~o~cem~nt of the assessment
o£ costs in relation to the benefits ~eceived from the various
improvements.
The County C1erk of the County of Butte ~s dir~cted to
certz~y a copy o~ this resolution and transm~t it to the City CZerk
o~~the City of Chico, Butte County, Ca~zfornia.
