A RESOT,UTTON ANZENDING RESOLUTION N0, 81-228
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 81-228 estab7.ished permit fees and procedures for the
refundi.ng of fees; and
WHEREAS, the procedures tor the refuxzding of fees are not complete;
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Superrrisors that Parts
1 Chrough 5 pertaining to the refunding of permit fees on Page 7 0£ Resalu~ion No. 81-228
are hereby deleted;
BE IT PUR~kIER RESOLVED that the following paragraphs be added to ltesolution No.81-228
RefundinQ of Fees
1, Tkze Buil.ding OfficiaL may authorize the refunding of any fee paid which was
erroneously paid or collected.
2. The BuiZding Official may authorize the refunding of permit fees and the plan
checking fee when the application for a permiC is withdrawn or cance2ed before
any plan checking is done.
3. The Building 0£ficial may authorize the refanding of ~he permit fees paid withfn
one year fram the date of issusnce of the permit providing no work has been done,
4. The Building Official may authorize the refunding of the permit fees paid if the
permit requested is not issued, but noti afCer one year from the date of fee payment,
5. The Suilding Official shall not authoxize the refunding of any fee paid except upon
written application fi~:ed by t}~e or3.ginal person paying the fee.
5. The Building Official shall not auChorize Yhe re£unding of any filing fees, nor
any plan checking fees for work pZan checked, He sha3.l deduct all department costs
prior to authorizing any refund,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this ResoluCion shall be effec~ive on February 9, 1982
