This matter came on regularly for hearing before ttae
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
on ~'ebruary 9
, 1982, in the Board Chambers, Butte County
Administration Building, Oroville, California, and it appearing to
said Board that a Notice of Intention and Resolution to Abandon A
Roadway and Notice of Time and P1ace of Hearing of said Abandonment
was duly and regularly given as requzred by law, and testimony and
evidence, both oral and documentary, having been produced at said
hearing, from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter
described roadway is unnecessary tor present or prospective pubZic
~se.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the roadway situated in the County of Sutte, State
of California, as hereinafter more particularly described is hereby
abandoned.
2. That the description of said roadway abandoned is
situated in the County of Butte, State oE Californza, commonly known
as Raiiroad Avenue, and more particularly described as follows:
Being that certain 60 foot right o~ way lying
withzn a portion of Sect9on 8, T18N, R4E, MDM,
also being a portzon of Lots 1 and 4 of B1ock
102 as shown on the Map of Palermo Ci.trus
Tract Sub No. 2, Maps of Record, Wall Map No.
3, County of Sutte, State of California, being
mare particularly descri.bed as follows:
Being that certain 60 foot righr of way bounded
on the north by the slough tha~ runs ~hrough
Block 7.02 lying approximately 2d0 feet south of
the centerline o~ Melisa Avenue bounded on the
south by the east-wesr centerline of B1ock I02;
bounded on ~he east by the west right of way `
line of the 100 foot wide Southern Pacific ~~„~ c~~~~ ~;
Railroad right of way and bounded on the west =~
by the east 1oe lines of said Lots 1 and 4 of ~~~

3. That the C1erk of this Board shall cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of Californ~a, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
