This matter came on regularly for hearing before the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
on February 9 , 1982, in the Board Ctaasnbers, Butite County
Administration Building, Oroville, California, and iC appearing to
said Board that a Notice of Intention and Resolution to Abandon A
Roadway and Norice of Time and Place of Hearing o~ said Abandonment
was duly and regularly given as required by law, and testimony and
evi.dence, both oral and documentary, having been produced at said
hearing, from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter
described roadway is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the roadway situated in the County of Butte, State
of California, as heteinafter more particularly described is hereby
abandoned.
2. That the description of sai.d roadway abandoned is
situared in the County of Butte, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
Being an 80 foot public right of way lying within a
portion of Section 8, T18IV, R4E,.MDM, as shown on
that certain map called "Town of Palermo" recorded
on Wall Map No. 3, Maps of Record, County of Butte,
State of California, being more particularly
described as follows:
Being a11 that 30 foot right of way known as Hewitt
A,venue, lqing between Block 23 on the west, Block 34
on tihe east, bounded on the norrh by the southerly
rzght of way line of Wiilaam Avenue and on the south
by the northerly right of way ~ine of Ludlum Avenue.

EXCEPTING AND RESERVING any existing easements and/or
rights at any time, or from time to time, eo maintain,
operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge the
existing public utility facilities and facilities
znczdental thereto, including access to protect the
property from a11 hazards in, upon, and over the
highway herewith abondoned.
Reserving to Pacific Gas and Electric Company for
service to the general public the right from time
to time to znstall, maintain, operate, renew and
use such overhead electric facilities as it may
deem necesary over, along and within said abandoned
portion of Hewitt Avenue.
3. ~hat the Clerk of this Board sha11 cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
