WHEREAS, the State of Calrfornia has proclaimed.1982 as the
Year of Disabled Persons; and ~
wHER~RS, the Dis.abled Student Services and Associated Students
of California State University, Chico will fiost a program on March 6, 1982
entitled Access America, which will focus on the needs, concerns and
accomplishments of disabled persons; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors reeognizes and
supports the rights and ab~lities of disab1ed persons to participate
as individuals ~n education, employment, recreat~on and all aspects of
our society.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL~ED, that the Butte County Board of
Superv~sors proclaims its support for Access America and the Ca7ifornia
Year of Disabled Persons.
PASSED AN~ ADOPTED this 24th day of February, 1982 by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Aolan, 5araceni and Chairman wheeler
NOES : None
