AS "BUTTE COUNTY AGRICULTURE UAY"
WHEREAS, agriculture is the back-bone of this country's economy; and
WHEREAS, California is the Number 1 agriculture producing sCate in Che Flnited ;
States, producing 45% o£ the nation's Fruit and vegetables; and
WIiEREAS, agriculeure is the essential industry in the State of Califosnza; and
WtidREAS, a substanCial porCion of the economy in Butte County is agricuJ.tutal
productivity; ,,,
NOW, THER~FQRE, BB IT RESOLVED ae Eollows:
1. That in order to show agziculture's vita7. role to the economy of the County
of Butte, this Board heceoy declares March 18, 1982 as "Butte CounCq AgriculCure Day".
