WHEREAS, this Soard was grieved to learn of the deaCh oE Robert A. Tdinston,
£orfner membex oE the Butte Couaty Eoard or Supervisors: and
W1iEItEAS, Robert A. Wineton served the citizens of ehe Coun[y oc Butce with
distinctio~ and with unse3.fish devotion for 18 yeazs; and
WH~R£AS, Robett A. Winston was poLitically active as an Oroville Cicy
Councilman, served oa the Oroville Planning Commission and setved as ~iayor Eor tne
City of OroviLle from 1971 through 1477, at ~hich time he was eleatea co the Butte
County Soatd of 5upervisots to represent the citizens of District 1; and

WHEREAS, Robert A. Winston, while a member o£ the Board of Supervisors,
faithfully and meritoriousLy served the peoQle oE the County oE Butte oa many
commiCCees and commissions throughout the State;
NOW, TfF£REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as Eollows:
1. That this Boaxd heraby ~emorializes its appreciacion Eot [he many years
of outstanding service rendered to the County o£ EuCCe by Robezt A. TAinston during his
lifetime.
