HARDSHIP WAIVER FOR
SHORT-DOYLE FUNDING MATCH REQUIREMENTS
WHEREAS, the County of Butte garticipated in the hardship
waiver for Short-Doyle match requirements for fiscal year 1981/82;
and
WHEREAS, the fiscal conditions in Butte County are continuing
to worsen; and
WH~REAS, it is extremely unlikely that the County of Butte will
have sufficient discretionary funds to provide a ten percent Short-
Doy1e match for fiscal year 1982/83.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. That the Butte County Board of Supervisors requests
continuation of the hardship waiver for Butte County.
2. That language be introduced to extend the waiver provisions
in AB 251 for fiscal year 1982/83.

Chairman Wheeler
