COUNTY OF BUTTE, RECOMMENDING THE ADOPTION OF
A SPEGLFIC PLAN PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTION 65350
WHER~AS, pursuan~ to the proviszons of Government Code
Section 65350, et. seq., public hearings were held before the
Butte County Board of Supervisors on a proposed Specific Plan for
John D. Drake/Howard Tsom, Canyon Park Estates; and
tiUHEREAS, all the procedures of ~he California Environmental
Quality Act and the Butte County Resolution implementing the act,
has been met, and the hereinafter Iisted matter was discussed fully
wi.th testimony and documentation presented by the public, and vaxious
County, local, and State agencies; and
WHEREAS, the Draft Environmental Impact Report provided an
adequate analysis for the Specific Plan for Canyon Park Estates,
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT SE RESOLVED, that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte in regular session assembled on
April 13, 1982 makes the tollowing findings on the mattex:
l. That the Specific Plan is conszstent with and will
zmpXement the genexal plan.
2. The Specific Plan, as designated with the proposed
conditions, will mitigate the concerns enumerated in
the Environmentai Impact Report.
3. The Specific Plan has ~eft significant area zn open
space to be maintained as open spa.ce.
4. The Specific Plan provides ~or formation of a County
Service Area for sanitary sewer maintenance.
5. The Specific A1an with the condztions for circulation,
access, water, xnd sewer services provided will
implement the general plan and each of its elements
and provide for the public safety.

imp~cts have bcen mitigated by the Specific Plan,

County Resolution i~nplementing CF(~A, review~d and considered thc
Draft ~I12, in its evaluation o£ tl~e proposecl Specifzc P1an and
certiried the F.IR as an accurate and objective statenient that complies
~aith the California rnvironmental Qual3.ty l~ct.
