RESOLUTiON OF INT~NTTON TO ~STABLISH COUNTX SERVICE

~VHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3
of the Government Code of the State of California, ~he Bvard hy i~Cs
vwn notice has initiated proceedings for the establishment of
County Service Area No. 85, and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Butte
County has approved the formation of County Service Area No. 85.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS H~IZEBX RESOLV~D:
1. County Service Area iVo. 85 is groposed to be estab-
lislied under the terms of the aforesaid chagter in the unincorporated
area of Butte County; theboundary lines of the territory proposed
for inclusion in the area outlined in Exhibit "A" which is a~tached
hereto and made a part liereof by thi.s xe~erence.
2. The service area shall be ca~led County Service Area
No. 85 (Carriage b4anor Street Lighting).
3. The type of extended sexvice to be provided is street-
lighting.
4. The Board intends to Ievy a service ch.arge to pay
for streetlighting service in County Service Area No. 85. The
service charge wi11 be assessed in accoxdance with Government Code
' Section 25210.77(a) and Butte County Code Section 21-85 through 21-90.
Said service charge will not be assessed until after review and adop-
tian of a report to be considered at a public hearing scheduled
for the 1982-83 fiscal year..
5. On June 15, 1982, at 10:30 a.m., a pub~ic hearing wi11
be held on the estabiishment o£ said area.

on this 77th day May, 1982, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervzsors Dolan, Fulton, Moseley, Saraceni and Chairman Wheeler
NOES: None
