WHEREAS, ~ohn D. Drafce, et al, has petitioned the Local Agency Formation
Cnmmission for ~he farma~ion of Coun~y Service Area No. 84; and
~lH~R~AS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Corr~nission has approve~
this format~on, and designated it 82~-9, Forrnation of Co~nty Service Area Na. 84,
the exteriar boundarzes of which are described in ~xhibit A at~ached hereta and made
a part hereaf by this reference; and
I~~I~REAS, the ~erri~ory ~s uroinhabited; and
WHEREAS, the reasan for ~his fo r~natian pet~tion is to assure con~inued
maintertance arod operation of the sewage disposal system for ~he Car~yon Park
~states; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to ~h~ provisior~s of Cali~Fornia Gov~rnm~nt Code
Sect~on 5~797.1, the Butte Coun~y I.aca1 Agency ~'ormatian Commiss~an 1~as authorized
the format~on of th~s Coun~y Service Area wi~hou~ no~~ce, h~ar~ng or an electior~;
and
4~HEREAS, an env~ronmental ~mpact report has been previously constidered
and certified by this Board, and this forma~ion wili have no s7gnificant effect
on the ~nvironment.
