~ti~~EREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3
of the Gvvernment Code of_t3~e State of California, rhe Board, by
its oivn motion, has initiated proceedings for the establishment of
County Service Area No. 79,.:arid
t~[HEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission has approved
the formatian of County 5ervice Area No. 79,
NOV1~ TIiEREFdRE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. County Service Area No. 79 is proposed to be established
under the terms o£ the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of Butte County;
2. The baundary lines o£ the texritory proposed for
inelusion in ~he area are outlined in Exhibit A which is attached
hexeto and made a part hereo£ by this re~erence;
3, The Service Area shall be called Caunty Service Area ~Io. 79
(Big Chic~ Cr~ek Es~ates, Sacramento Paxk Subdivisions) {Storm
draina~e and street lighting).
4. The type o~ extenc~ed service to be provided is storm
drainage maintenance and stxeet lighting.
S. The Board zntends to levy a surcliarge to pay for the
aforementioned services in County Service Area No. 79. The stircharge
W111 be assessed in accordance with Government Code Section 252I0.77(a)
arid Butte County Cnde Section 21-85 through 21-93, Said service
charge will not be assesseci until after review and acloption of a
repart to be cnnsidered at a~ublic hearing scheduled for the 83-84
fiscal year.
6. On J'uly 27, 1982 at 10:30 a.m., a public hearing will be
held on the establ.ishment of said area.
