The bui~ding perm~t ~ees ~ox fac~oxq-bui~~ housing and moh~lehames on

ge~ni~ fee dete~mined by the above tab~e.
Bui~ding pertnit renewal fees sha11 be one-half (~/2} of the original

10, Penalty Fees
When work for wh~.ch a permit is ~equired by the Butte Coun~y Code is
started or proceeded with prior ~o obtai.ni.x~g said permit, the permit
~ees specified in this resolut'a.on sha~.l be ~ripled, but Che ~aymen~
o~ such:,triple ~'ee s,h~ll n.ot re~.xev:e any persons from ful].y conaplying
with the requi~emetnts o~ ~he Butte Cour-~y Code i.n the execu~ion o~
~he wark, nor ~xom o~her .penalties prescra.bed ~herein. This p~sy.al.ty
provzsi.on shall not apply ~o emergency work when it sha~1 be pxoved
~a the sa~is~~ction of the ~ui.Iding Officia~. ~hat such wox'k Yaas urgen~l.y
necessary and tha~ i~ was not prac~ical to ob~ain a permit ~herefor
before the co~mencement o~ woric. ~n a~.1. such cases, a perrnit must be
o~ta~.ned as soon as it is practxcal to do so, and i.fr there be an
unx~easonable de~.ay in ab~axning such a p~rmi~t, a~riple ~ee as herea.n
provided si~all t~e charged.
11. Reques~ed ~,nspection Fee
Wllere an owner desi,xes an inspec~io~n. o~ a b~ilding on which there is
not an active buxlding permit, fox fxnancing or othex pux'•pQ~es, the

sha7.7. be paid prior to the ir~spec~ion. ~hxs fee is ~o cover the cnst

construction, enlargemen~, altexa~ion, repair, inovement, improvemen~,
reFnoval, conversiox~., ox demolitian. req.ui.xed as a result of ~he itts.pec-

~3. Excavation and Grading Fees
Excavation and grading fees sha11 be as prescx~bed in Chapter 70 of
~he Appendix of the ~~iform BuiZding Code ~s adopted by ~he Ba~te
County Code, except the p~r haur charges for additiiona~ p1~n checking
and add~~xonal xnspectxons sha~~ be $30.00/hr. with a~25.00 minimu~n fee.
~4. Agricultural Building Exemp~ion Permi~
