BOARD TO HEAR ALL APPEALS UNDER
CHAPTER 28A OF THE BU~TE COUNTY CODE

WHEREAS, t~ae Board o£ Superviso~s has adop~ed an ardinance
establisha.ng K Housing Code regulations, and
WHER~AS, said ordinance calls for an appeals boa~d to hear
appeals of the provisions of said regulations,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Supervisors
as follows:
I. ~here is hereby establis~ed in the County of Butte an
Appea~.s Board for Che purpose of hearing appea~.s to regulation~ being
enforced by the Departmant o~ Publa.c Works of the County of Butte, whi.ch
regulations were adapted for limited d~nsity owner-built rural dweliings,
as set forth in Chapter 2SA of the Butte Caunty Code.
2. That said Appeals Board shall consist of thre~ members
who are ~o be appointed by the Board of Supervzsors. ~he firs~ mennber
sha11 be appointed for an initial te~m of on~ year and each subsequent
appointment shall be for a terzn o~ three years. The seconc~ ~nernber
shal~. be appointed for an initial te~m of two years and each subsequent
appozntment shall be tor a texm of three years. The third m~mbeT
shall be appointed for an initial. term of two years and each subsequent
appointment sha~.l b~ for a term of three years.
3. The f~.~cst member shall be from the general public. The
s~cond memb~r shall be an owner-builder. The third member sha11 be

4. The Appeals Board sha~l hear appeals brought by any
person as to any appiicatzan of any rule or regulation~o~ Chapter 28A
of the Butte County Code, being enforced by the Department of Public
Warks.
