in Municipal and Justice Courts
WHEREAS, Sections 63 and 66 of Senate Bill 132G of Chapter 327
of the Statutes of 1982 increased the maximum amounts which municipal and
justice courts may collect for the filing of civil actions in municipal
and justice courts; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned law authorized these fees to be
implemented Ju~y i, 1982 without any action by the Board of Supervisors; and
41HEREAS, the aforementioned law also provides that these fees must
be approved by the Board of Supervisors before December 31, 1982, othe~~ise
these fees will rever~ back to being the amount previously authorized by the
Board of Supervisors.
NOW, TMERE~QRE, 8E iT R~SOLVED as fo~lows:
1. The total fee for fil5ng of the first paper in a civil~action
or proceeding in the municipal or justice court shall not exceed $29; and
2. The total fee for filing of the first paper in a civil action
ar proceeding on behalf of any party other than plaintiff shall not exceed ~17.
