HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-173RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION A OF APPENDIX VII OF RESOLUTION 82-68 WHEREAS, this Board finds it necessary to ptov~de for the division of agricultural land for continued agricultUral purposes which require no sewage disposal, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors rhat Section A of Appendix VII of Resolution 82-68 is amended to zead as follows: APP~NbTX VTI MINIMUM USEABLE LOT AREAS FOR SUBDIVISIONS AND LAND DIVISIONS WHERE INDIViDUAL SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSmEMS ARE TO B~ USED; MTNTMUM SEPARATION DISTANCE$ A. The requirements below for sewage disposal are applicable to single family residential subdivisions and land divisions. l. For other subidivisions and land divisions where there is at least 7' of soil, the required minimum area for sewage disposa~ sha~l be sufficient to a11ow ~or the installation of a septic tank system designed in a~cordance wiCh the currenr edition of the USPH Manual of Septic Tank Practice grovisions relating to ~eaching fields. This minimum area shall also include area for 100% replacement of said system. 2. For okher subdivisions and ~and divisions where there is Iess than 7' of soi1, the required minimum areas shall be computed proportionally based upon sewage flows expected from the land divis~on or subdivision in quest~on, and the sewge flow expected from a single family residence. 3. Fox subidivisions of AGRICULTURAL LAND for continued AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES only, no requzred minimum areas for sewage disposal sha11 be necessazy. No development requiring an individual sewage disposal system shall be permitted on any such a~rx~ulrural parcel unless the requirements of.A, A-1 or A-2 are meC. A statement sha~l be placed on any requzred map and reserved in deeds for each lot thak "lots within this division are not approved for sewage disposal." -2- "Agricultural Purposes" as used in this section means the cultivation af food or fibex or grazing or pasturing of livestock on parcels of 20 acres or larger.
