RE50Ll~TION OF 7HE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVi50RS DECLARING
THE WE~K OF NOVEMBER 15 THROUGH 17, 1982 FARM-CTTY WEEK
WH~REAS, the Butte Co~nty Board of Supervisors recognizes~ the importance of the
agricultural cortm~unity in that rice, almonds, prunes, walnuts and cattle are the top five
crops produced in Butte County; and
WHEREAS, Butte County is one of tF~e most irnportant counties ~n the state for
agr~cultural exports; and
WNEREAS, the auturtm of each year is traditionally celebrated in recognition of the
agricaltural~product.
NOW, 'FFiEREFQRE, BE TT RESOLVED, the Butte County Board of Sapervfsors, alona with
others, takes pr9de in dec3aring the week of Novemher 15 through 19, 1982 as Farm-City Week.
