RESOLUT~ON ~F THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISQRS
FINDING THAT A MAJORYTY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE
AGAINST THE ANNEXATION OF UNINHAB~TED TERRITORY
D~SIGNATED AS THERMALITO WEST N0. 1 ANNEXATION TO
TID AND C5A N0. 26, AN~ ORDERING THE ANNEXATION OF
SAID TERRITORY
WHEREAS, on ~he19~h day o~ October , 1982, the Butte County
Board of Sup~rvisors adopted Resolution No. 82-1.62 , g~,ving notice
of the proposed annexation af uninhabited terri.tory designated as
Th~rmaliCo ~~test No. ~ A~nexati.o~ t~ TTD and CSA No. 26. This
~territory is mnre fu1~y described in Exhibit A a~ttached hereto and
by thi.s refer~nce mad~ a part hereof_, ,andj~
~VHBREAS, ~aid resolution set November 9, 1982 at 10:30 a.m.
as the time for he~ring af written protest agains~. said annexatian,
an d
WHEREAS, the Cvunty Clerk d~.d cause notice af said hearing
to be posted and published, and praperty owners to be not~fied as
provided in Govexnment Code 5ectinns 56A3I and 55432, and
WIiEREAS, at the time and p~.ace fixed in said resolution
giving notice of sa~.d hea~ing, the Board determined that a majarity
pratiest was nat made, and
WHEREAS~ the Butte Coun~y Local Agency Forma~ian Cammission
has appraved the proposed annexation, and
WH~REAS, the Board has determined thax the Butte County
Local Agency Formation Cvmmissian has approved '~he negative declara-
tivn ~or rhe proposed annexation.
NOW, THEREFOR~, BE IT RESOi.VED by ~he :Bu~t~ County Board
af Supervisors as fallows:
1. That a11 that certain uninhabited ~erritory designated
as Th~rmalito ~'~es~ No. 1 Annexatian to TID ~nd.CSA Na, 26, and
aescxibed in ~h~ attached Exhi.bit A, be annexed to and incZuded
wi.thin the Therma~,ito Trrigat~.an District and County Service
