RESOLUTION G~VING ASSURANCES OF THE
NON-SUPPLANTATION OF COUNTY FUN~S BY
THE C~UNTY JUST~CE SYSTEM SUBVENTI~N
PROGRAM APPL~CAT~ON
WHEREAS, the Gal,ifornia Youth .~uthorit~ has been authori~ed by the
legislature to''review applications for participatiou in ~he County
Jus~ice S~stem',Subven~ian Pro~ram, and
WHEREAS, the California Youth Authority required assnrances that
the sta~e subvention will not take the place of coux~ty funds pre~ently
bea.ng expended''~or ~h~ program included in ~he funding request.
N~W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors af the
County of Butte that a7.1 funding requests in the county'S application
as approved on December 7, ~982, are for new pro~rams or for programs
mandated by Chapt~r `~0'~'~ of the '19?6 Sta~u~es, or for programs funded
by federal
funds.
The Board'of Supervisors rssolves the listed Fi.sca~. Year 82/8~
