WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California S'treets and Highways Code, this Board sha11 set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Soard of Supervisors:
1.', That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
~eering on January lz , 1982 at ~o:oo a.m., in the Board ChambeTS,
Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, CaliEornia, a hearing
shal~ be held on the abandonment of the following described roadway:
YUBA AVENUE
Being that certain b0-foot right-of-way known as Yuha
Avenue lying between blocks 72 and 73 of Thermalito
lying within T19N R3E MDB&M as shown on the Map of
ThermaZito, Wa11 Map No. 6, maps of records, County
of Butte, State of Califotnia, being more particularly
described as follows:
Being that certain b0-foot right-of-way known as Xuba
Avenue, bounded on the north by Lot 12, Block 72 of
Thermalito; bounded on the south by Lots l, 2, and
3, Block 72 of Thermalito; bounded on the east by the
west right-of-way line of that 60 foot right-of-way
known as Ninth Street and bounded on the west by the
easterly right-of-way line of that 100 foot right-o~-
way',known as Grand Avenue.
Reserving to Pacific Gas and Electric Company and
Pacrfic Telephone and Telegraph Company for service
ro the general public the right fro~ time to time to
install, maintain, opeiate and use such anchorage
fac~litiies as they may deem necessary over, under,
along and within the stxip of land described as
follows:
A strip of land of the unifozm width of 3 feet ~.ying
contiguous to and southe~Ly of the northerly boundary
line of said Yuba Avenue and extending from the
westexly boundary line of 4th Street, wester~.y 20.d feet.
