LICENSE TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY
TELEVI'SION SYSTEM IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, FOR THE
AREA SURROUNDING THE CITY OF GRIDLEY, TH~ CITY OF BIGGS,
AI3D THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS SURROUNDING THE TOWN OF PARADISE,
AND THE CITY OF OROVILLE, CALI~ORNIA
WHEREAS, Nor-Cal Cablevision Inc., by letter dated November
29, 1982, has Lequested the County of Butte's consent to transfer
its business license as amended; and
WHEREAS, Nor-Cal Cablevision Inc., has requested that its
lxcense be assigned to Viacom International, which is wholly owned;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5, Paragraph (c) o~ Exhibit "C"
to Nor-Cal Cablevision's Incorpotated B~siness ~icense with the.County
of Butte dated April 11, 1967, for the unincotporated areas surrounding
Oroville and Paradise, said Business License requires the consent of
the County of Butte prior to any transfer of said li~ense; and
C~HEREAS, pursuant to Section 6, Paragraph (d) of Exhibit "B"
of Butte County Resolution 77-64, said resolution requires the consent
of the County of Butte prior to any transfer of sai.d license concerning
cable television service to the area surrounding the Town of Biggs; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6, Paragraph (d) of Exhibit "D"
of Butte County Resolution 77-64, said resoluCio^ reguiTes the consent
of the County of Butte prior to any transfex o~ said Iicense concerning
cable television service to.the area surrounding the Town of Gridley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of California, Chat the County of Butte
fo~mally consents ~o the assignment of the a~orementioned business
license from Nor-Cal Cablevision Inc., to Viacom International,
provided the ~ollowing canditions are met:

That all the texms and conditions o~ said business
, be accepted by and fulfilled by Viacom
International.
2. 'That the faithful performance bonds referred to z^ Section
12 of the incorporated Oroville Agreement be filed by Viacom Inter-
national with the County of Butte.
