AN ORDINANCE TO RE~TRANSFER HIGHGIAY TO
YUBA COUNTY, PURSiJANT TO SECTIONS 972.,
973 AND 975, STREETS AND HIGHS~AYS CODE
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, do ordain as follows:
'That Chapter 25~ Section 251 shall be added to the County
Code of Butte County, and shall read as follows:
CHAPTER 25
MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
Section 25~1o Pursuant to Section 975 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.,
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butter
hereby consent to remtransfer to the County of
Yu~ba,~ the use, control, and maintenance of that
portion of the ForbestownaWoodleaf Roads located
in the County of Yuba, at and near ~nloodleaf~ and
more particularly described as followss
Beginning at a point on: .the boundary between the
Counties of Butte and Yuba the same being the sec-
tion line between Section 12, Township 19 North.,
Range 6 East M,DoMe and Section 7, Township 19
Northa Range 7 East MoDeMo. Thence easterly across
Sections 7~ 8 and 9 of Township 19 Northa Range 7
East, M,D,Mo to its intersection with the Marysvill e
La Porte Road at T~Toodleaf in the east half of Section
9, Township 19 Northa Range 7 East, M,DaM,~
the use of said highway having been granted to
the County of Butte by the County of Yuba., pursuant
to Sections 972 and 973 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the estate of California,
This Ordinance shall take effect thirty {30) days after
the passage of the same, and before the expiration of fifteen Cl5
days after such passage., this Ordinance shall b;e published with
the names of the members voting for and against the same, at
least once in oroville Mercury ,. a newspaper published
