2' 689, 691, and 763 KNOWN AS THE "A-R'r
3 (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICTS OF
BUTTE COUNTY
4 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
5 California, does ordain as follows:
6, That Butte County Oxdinance Numbers 548, 589, 619, 624, 645, 683,
7 684, 686, 689, 691, and 763 of said County are hereby amended in the
8 following respects and paxticulaxs:
9 Section 2 of said Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows:
l0 2.1 Uses permitted:
ll {a) One (1) family dwelling, not including tents or
12 txailers,
13 (b) Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses,
14 (c) Agricultural uses, and
15 (d) Livestock, subject to requirements as follows
16 (1) Minimum lot azea to be devoted to residential
17 use shall be not less than eight thousand one hundred twenty- five
lg (8,125) square feet.
19 (2) Exclusive of the area devoted to the residential
20 se, the following lot or parcel areas shall be required for each
21 imal raised or kept en the premises:
22 (a) For each horse or head of cattle over one
23 (1) yeaz of age - eight thousand one hundred twenty-five (8,125)
24 quaxe feet,
25 (b) For each head of swine over ten (10) weeks
26 f age - eight thousand one hundred twenty-five {8,125) squaze feet,
27 (c) For each head of sheep or goats - two
28 thousand(2,O0O) square feet.
29 2.2 The following uses subject to securing a use permit in
30 each cases
31 (a) Duplex dwellings and m:xltiple family dwellings,
32 (b) Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted, would per it

accessory uses such as driving range, pro shop, cocktail bar,
restaurant,
(c) Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks & playgrounds, schools and public
utility buildings,
(d} Commercial poultry farming and livestock farming,
(e) Veterinary clinics, outpatient,
(f} Nurseries and plant Bard®ns.
2.3 Minimum building area required - eight thousand one
hundred twenty-five (8,125) square feet.
2.4 Minimum builcling site width required - sixty-five {65}f~
2,5 Minimum front yard required.- fifty (50) feet from the
center line of the road.
2.6 Minimum side yard requir®ment -five {5) feet.
The foregoing amendments to "A-R" Ordinance Nos. 548, 589, 619,
624, 645, 683, 686, 689, 691 and 763 of said County shall :•;take
effect thirty (30) days after the passage of same and befpre the
expiration of fifteen {15) days after such passage, the foregoing
amendment shall be published once with the names of the. members of
the Board voting for and against it in the Chico Enterrise
a newspaper published in the County of Sutte, State of California.
