AN OR7~INANCE AMENDING BUTTE COUNTY
ORDINANCE Nos, 547 and 799
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
farnia,do ordain as follows:
3 That Butte County Ordinance Nos, 547 and 799 are hereby amended
in the following particulars:

SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an "R~1"
5 (Residential) District:
2, 1. Uses permitted
1). One family dwellings
2}, Accessory buildings
3~, The following uses subject to the securing of a use permit
in each case:
a}y Golf courses and country clubs
b). Public and quasi-gubiic uses including churches, fire
houses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools, and public
utility buildings
c}, Private stables
2.2 Building site area required:
1), Eight thousand one hundred twenty•~five (8,125) square feet
2.3 Minimum building site width required:
1), sixty-,five (65) feet
2,4 Front yard required:
1). Fifty (50} feet from the centerline of the County road
2.5 Side yard requireds
1). Five feet ('5)
2.6 Additional uses permitted for Lot Nos. 1, 2, and 3 of Reed
Park Subdivision Unit No, ~.:
1)0 "C4l" (Light Commercial) uses shall be permitted,
2), Light commercial uses are retail enterprises that are con
ducted primarily inside a building including business and prafe
sional offices, the retail of dairy products, medical and det:ta
buildings and clinics, stationery stores, studios;: and other
similar retail or professional services establishments,
3). Offwstreet parking requirements shall be bli. a basis of
two (2) square feet of off-.street parking area for each square
foot of gross floor space.
2S This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be in full
26 force and effect from and after thirty (30} days after the date of
its passage and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after
24 its passage, This ordinance shall be published once with the names
of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against
28 it in the Chico Enterprise , a newspaper in the Count
of Butte, State of California.

Butte, State of California, on this 22nd day of December
