THE COUNTY CRIb7INAL JUSTTCE FACILITX CONSTRUCTION FUND
WIiEREAS, on January 25, 1983 the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 83-08
establishing the County Criminal Justice Facility Construction k'und and imposing a st~rchar~e
on parking violations and additional assessments on non parking fines; and
WHEREAS, said resolution did not iRClude an effectfve date t'or impler.mentation.
NOW, THEREFC~~i,E, BE IT RESOLVED that Section 5 of Resolution 83-08 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
5. '['he Clerk of the Board is instructed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the
Jvd~es of the Courts of this count,y and to any entity withSn this count,y that processes its
own parking tickets with the request that the bail schedule amounts be increased as appropriate
to reflect the additional assessments provided for by §1206.8(a)(2? of the Penal Code effective
upon the adoption of this resolution and that surcharges on parking cases providea for b,y
Government Code §68073.4 and §1206.8(a)(2) of the Penal Code become effective 114ay 1,
1953.
