I983 SUGARLESS WEDNESDAY
WHEREAS, our health is paramount in importance to the
enjoyment and fulfillment of life; and
WHEREAS, our diet is so closely related to our health;
and
WHEREAS, sugar consumption is a primary concern in our
diet and a link to various health problems.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board hereby
proclaims February 16, 1983, as Sugarless Wednesday in Butte
County, and urges a11 citizens to participate in the observation
by avoiding all sugat.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this lsth day of February , 1983, by the fo~~owing vote:
