OF THE ~OARD OF SUPERVISORS ESTABLISHING THE
COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICB FACILI~Y CONSTRUCTION FUND
'W'HEREAS, on Januazy 25, 1983, the Board of Supervisors adopted
Resolution 83-08 establishing the Gounty Criminal Justice Facility
Construction Fund and imposing a surcharge on parking violations and
additional assessments on non-parking fines; and
WHEREAS, on Februazy 8, 1983, the Soard o~ SupeLVisors adopted
Resolution 83-1I amending Section 5 of Resol~tion 83-08 by establishing
that surcharges on parking cases become effective May 1, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 of Resolutions 83-OS and 83-1I, when
teferring to surcharges on parking cases, erroneously refers to Penal
Code Section 1206.8 (a)(2).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board that Section 5 of
Resolution 83-08 and Resoiution 83-11 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
5. The Clerk of the Board is instructed to transmit
a copy of this resolution to the Judges o£ the Courts o£
this county and to any entity within this county that
processes its own pazking tickets with the request that
,the bail schedule amounts be increased as approptiate
to reflect the additional asssessments provided for by
§1206.8(a)(2) of the Penal Code effective upon the
adoption of this resolution and that surcharges on
paEking cases provided for by Government Code §68073.4
and §1206.8(a)(1) of the Penal Code become effective
May 1, 1983.
