The Board o~' Supervisors of the County o~ But~e
resolves:
~. This Board of Supervisors has gi.ven pre~.iminary
approva~. to the report vf the Praject Engineer for improv~ments
in Paradise B~uffs Assessment Distric~ No. 1. Th~ repor~
~nc~udes plans and .specifications for the cons~ruction o~
improvemerits described in ~.he repor'~.
2. The Co~nty o~ Bu~te wil.l receive sealed praposals
for ~his cons~ruc~ion not 7.ater than 11:00 A.M, on Manday, April
18, ~.983, in the office of ~he Directo~ at Pub3.ic Works loca~ed
at 7 County Center Dr~ve, ~roville, California. At f.hat ~ime
and place the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, examined
and declared.
3. The Board of Supervisors rese~ves the pawer in,i~s
discretxon to ~'eject al~ proposal.s. The award of cons~ruction
contract, if made, sha3.~ be made ~o the lowest respansible
bxdder wi~hin ~he time ~ixed zn ~he specifications (or any
ex~ension at ta.~e ar~reed ~o by the County and the 1.owest
responsib7:e biddez) .
4. The County C~.erk is directed to p~bl.ish a notice
invitzng sea~ed proposals zn the PARADISE POST in accordance ~
with ~he Muni.cipal Imp~ovement Act o~ 1913. The Engine~r of
Work ~.s au~harized ~o give adc~itional notice and ~o c~istribute
addi~i.onal in~ormat~on as necessary in 'the ~udgment o~ the
~ ~ ~,
