This matter came on regularly for heaLing before the
Board of Supetvisors of the County of Buere, State of California,
on March 29 , 1983, in the Boaid Chambers, Butte County
Administration Building, Oroville, California, and it appearing to
said Board that a Notice of Intention and Resolution to Abandon
Roads and Notice of Time and Place o~ Hearing of said Abandonment
was duly and regularly given as required by law, and testimony
and evidence, both oral and documentazy, having been produced at
sai.d hearing, from which said Board now firzds ~hat the hereinafter
described roads are unnecessary for present or prospective public
use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY O1tDERED as follows:
1. That the roads situated in the County of Butte, State
of California, as hereinafter more particularly described is heieby
abandoned.
2. That the descripta.on of said roads abandoned are
situated in the County of Butte, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
RUTHERFORD ROAD - RIGHT 0~' WAY
Being that certain 40-foot and 60-foot right of way
known as Rutherford Road lying within Sections 13,
14 & 24, T1713, RlE, M.D.M. as shown on those certain
deeds recorded in Book 34 of deeds at Page 359, in
Book' 217 0~ deeds at Page 88 and in Book 217 of deeds
at Page 197, County of Butte, State of California,
being more particularly descri.bed as follows:
Being that certain 40-foot and 60-foot right of way
lying parallel with and contiguous to the following o
described line, begining a~ the south quarter corner ~
of said Section 13 and being 20 feet on the left and ~
40 feet on the right; thence west one quarter mile ~a
more ot less to the southwest corner of the southeast ~
one quarter of the southwest one quartei o~ said ~
Section 13; thence being 40 feet on the left and 20 r^
feet on the right, north one quarter mile moTe or ~
less to the notthwest cornet of the southeast one ~
quarter of the southwest one quarter of said Section

13 continuing with 40 feet on the left and 20 feet
on the right west one quarter mile more or less
along the north line of the southwest one quarter of
the!southwest one quarter of said Section 13 to the
west line of Section 13, thence being 20 feet on the
leff and 20 feet on the right for the two following
cour,ses and distances north one quarter mile more or
less to the west quarter corner of said Section 13;
thence along the east, west centerline of Section
1~, one mile more or less to the west line of said
Section 14 and the end of the described line.
Said deeds of the right of way to be abandoned is on
file at the office of the Recorder of Butte County,
#25'County Centez D~ive, Ozovilie, California.
FARRTS ROAD - RIGHT OF WAY
Being that certain 50-foot right of way known as
~ Farris Road lying within Sections 17 and 20, T 17 N,
R2E,' M.D.M., as shown on that certain deed recorded
in Sook 34 of deeds at page 704, Couaty of Butte,
State of California, being more patticulatly described
as follows:
Being that certain 50-foot right of way lying
eastiti.erly of and patallel with the westerly line of
Sect'tions 17 and 20 Ti7N, R2E, M.D.M., beginning at
the Icorner of Sections 19, 20, 29 & 30, T17N, R2E,
MDM, thence east along the Section line between
SecC',ions 20 & 29, 50 feet, thence north 2 mi~es
more: or less to the southerly right of way line of
that certain 50-foot right of way known as West
Evans Reimer Road, thence west along said right of
way '50 feet to the west line of said section 17,
thence south along the west line of Sections 17
and 20 2 miles more or less to the goint of beginning.
Said deed of the right of way to be abandoned is on
file at the Office of the Recorder of Sutte County,
#25 County Center Drive, Or.oville, California.
3. That the Clerk of this Board sha11 cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of BuCte, Sraee of California, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Bueee, State of California.
