donation, be restarad to sight or atherwise helped or cured; and
WHEREAS, through organ donat~on, those who care artd have foresight
th~s may give the gift of 7ife and living ta those in need, when they, themselves,
depart.
NOW, 7HEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the Butte Caunty 8oard of Supervisors,
in order to create for the citizens of this county an awareness of bath the
need for, and opportunity for, tfiis gir"t of iife and of tiving through organ
danation, do deciare and praclaim April 24 t~rough Apri1 30, 1983 Organ Donation
Week in the County of Butte.
