~1HEREAS, the Butte County Board af Supervisors, City of Chico,
Downtown Chico Business Associati~n and the Ph~ Chi Theta are promot9ng
the advancement of wamen in business; and
4JHEREAS, the above organizai~ons are promoting Womens' Appraciation
Week April 11'through 16, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the women in Butte County have always played a major
role in the county's h3story and development; and
WHEREAS, adequate recognition of their participation and activities
in making our'community what it is today ~s long past due.
NOW; THEREFORE, BE fT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
SupervTSOrs declares April 11 through 16, 1983 as wort~r~s' APPRECIATIQN I~fEEK.
