RESOLUTION R4AKING APPLICATION TO LOCAL AGENCY POR144ATION CONfPdISSION
RBGARDING DISSOLUTION OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 35
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the Count,y of Butte intends to consider a
proposai for dissolution of a county service area; and
WHBREAS, no proceeding for the dissolution of such a service area shall be instituted
by this ~oard or required by its snembers until approval of the Local Agency Formation
Commission is first obtained.
NOW, THER~FOR~, BB IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Rutte County Board of
Supervisors as follows:
1. Application and a proposal for dissolution of County Service Area No. 35 is hereby
made to the Butte County Local Agency Formation Cor.imission in accordance with the
District Reorganization Act, Revenue and Taxation Code §56000, et seq.
2. Dissolution of said service area is progosed under the County Service Area Law.
The type of extended service proposed to be dissolved is the installation of fire h,ydrants.
3. Pursuan'E to Revenue and Taxation Code, the funds held in trust sha.ll be used to
purchase a water tender, the equipment needed ta put the unit in service and to construct
a€acility to house the unit.
4. The''reason for the proposed dissolution is that all of the hydrants that are needed
have been instialled.
5. The" Clerk of the Board is authorized and c~irected to file a certified copy of this
resolution with the Executive Officer af the Butte County Local Agency Formation Cor:lmission.
