L. Stewart, and o~hers, requesting the abandonment of a poreion of a
highway as',described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California'Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonmene,
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervxsors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regulaz
meeting on' Ju~y Zz , 1983 a~ ~o:oo a.~., in t~e Board Chambers,
Butte Couney Administxation Building, Oroville, California, a hearing
shall be he~d on the abandonment of the following described portion of
a highway.'
All that certain real property situated in the
County of Butte, State of California described
as ''follows:
All Chat portion of ~ast Lindo Avenue bo~nded on
rhe northeast by the southerly la.ne of Lindo Channel,
oz~'the southwese by ~he northerly line of lots
number one, two and three of block number 15, as
shown on the map o~ the "FourCeenth Subdivision of
the John Bidwell Rancho," which map was recorded in
the off~.ce of the Recorder o~ ~he County of Butre,
State o~ Cala.fornia, on August 14, I907, in B~ok 6
of'Maps at Page 68, on the west by the norther~y
extension of the easterly line of Mangrove Avenue,
and on the south by the easterl.y extension of the
northerly line of East Ninth Avenue, also being the
easterly extension of the southerly line of said
Lot r~o. s, Block #is.
Excepting and resetving a 20-foot wide easement
being 10 feet on each side of the existing storm
drain from the northetly line of East Ninth Avenue
to'Lindo Channel.
Exeepting and reserving any existing easements and
or'rights at any time or from time to time, to
maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and
en~.axge the existing public utility facilities and
facilities incidental thereto, including access to
proteCt the property from all hazards in, upon, and
over the highway herein described.

Streets and'Highways Code.
