COMBINED EM~LOYMENT AND TRRINING ADVISORY COUNCIL
WH~R~AS, the Butte County Baard o~F Supervisors had es~ablished the
Combined ~mployment and 7rain~ng Rdvisory Counci7 in Resolution No. 82-~2; and,
WHEREAS, the Sutte County Baard af St~pervisors is the Prime Sponsar
for ~he admini'strat~on of pragra~s under the Comprehens~ve Emp7oyment and
~'raining Act of ~978; and,
WH~REAS, the Board o~F Supervzsors finds i~ ~o be in the intere5~
of ~he people ',of the County o~F Butte ta mafce certain amendments -~a the meeting
for the Cambined Employ~nen~ and Training Advisory Council,
NOW,', THEREFOR~, B~ IT R~SOLVEQ, that Reso7ution ~Io. 82-12, Section E,
be amended to 'read as follows:
E. Meetings: The Combin~d E~nplaymen~ and Train~ng Advisory
;Councii (CETAC) sha17 meet at least f~ve times a year at
''a ~ime and p~ace selec~cd by said Council. Special meetings
'may be called pursuant ta appllcab~e Government Code sections.
`The CounciT may establish certain committees as it deems
;'appropriate. The Counc~~ may adopt rules of procedure ~or
the conduct of bus~ness. Th~ required quarum for the Council
to conduct business sha~i consist o~' t1~e members present at
;any meeting which was preannounced and all members were
~otified in writinc~ of such meeting not 7ess ~han three ~ays
;in advance. Any act~on taken by ~he Council must be. done
:by majority vo~e o~F those members in attendance at ~~e
;meeting. Wr~tten minu~es shail be mainta~ned af a17 mee-~ings
;and shall be a matter of pub~ic record.
