that 1oca1 governmen~s must establish annua~. appropriations limits
pursuant to said Article, and;
LJHEAEAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Covernment Coc1e,
provides that the governing body of each local jurisdiction sha1l,
by resolution, establish its appropriations ].imit for the following
year at a regularly scheduled meeting, and;
WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculaCed the appropria-
tions lzmits for the applicable spec~.al distric~s to be the amounts
shown on Attachment A for fiscal yeax~ 1.983-1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the aggropriations limits
for special districts under cont~ol of the Board of Supervisors of
Butte County are established to be the amounts shown on Attachment A
for fiscal year ]~983--1984, and;
FtJRTHER, tl~.at said appropriations I.imits, and the determinaCion
thereof are in compliance with Article XIZI-B of the California
Constitution.
