PROCLAIMING 7HE WEEK Q~ ~UNE 27 THROUGH ~ULY 1, i983
AS CHICO HEALTN A4JARENESS WEEK
WFEEREAS, the Greater Chico Chamber of Commerce wil7 be sponsoring
the 21st Annual Industrial Qarbecue; and
WHEREAS, the Greater Chico Chamber of Commerce wil7 be honoring
the local f~ealth industry which ineludes al] the employees of the,local
hospitals, t~ose worki~g in pr~vate practice, alternat3ve heaith care
practioners, as we11 as those ert~ployed in peripheral or support health
related businesses, such as pharmacy ar~d eye glass manufacturers; and
W~IEREAS, Chico is identifiecE as the regional center for health
care in the north valley.
hlOt~J, TNEREFORE, QE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, that the week of June 27 through
July i, 1983 be proclaimed Chico Nealth Awareness Week in recognition of the
health industry and its important contribution ~o the citizen5 of the greater
Chico area and the County of Butte.
PASSED A~i~ ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
14th day of June, 1983 by the following vote:
