WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Don
Sttuble, and others, requesting the abandonment of a right-of-way
as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
Cala.forn9.a Streets and Highways Code, this Board sha11 set a date
for a hearing on the getirion for abandonmene,
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
l. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on July 26 , 1983 at ~l:oo a.m., in ~he Board Chambers,
~utte County Adminfstration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing
shall be kaeld o^ the abandonmene of the following described right-of-way.
OJ~ive Avenue
Roa Right of Way
Being that certain 60-foot road righC of way known
as Olive Avenue lying within the Northeast Quarter
of Section 9, T18N, R4E, M.D.M., also lying between
Blocks 67 and 74 of Palermo Citrus Tract Subdivision
No. 1 as shown on Map of Record, Wall Map No. 3,
Coun~}r of. ButCe, State of California, being more
particularlq described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Lot 7 0€
Block 67, Palermo Citrus Tract Subdivision No. 1,
thence east 60 feet to tk~e southwesterlq carner of Lot
2 of said B1ack 74, Paiexmo Citrus Tract Subdivision
No. 1, thence North 660 £eet to tkae northwesrerlq
corner o~' said Lot 2, Block 74, thence West 60 feet
to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 7, Block 67,
thence South 660 feet ro the point of beginning.
Said Map showing the xight of way to be abandoned is
on file in the ~f~ice of Butte County Department of
Public Works, No. 7 County Center Drive, O=oville,
Californ9.a.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING any existing easements and/or
=ights at any time, o~ from time to time, to maintain,
operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge the
existing publi.c uriliry facilities and facilities
incidental thereto, includzng access to protect the
property from all hazards, in, upon, and over the
highway herewith abandoned.

2. That a map showing said portion of said right-of-way
to be abandoned is on file at the Public Works Department, 7 County
Centex Drive, Oroville, California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pu~suant
to the provisions of Chaptez 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of Caiifornia
Streets and Highways Code.
