RESOLl1TI0f~ ADOPTIf~G PROPOSED B~7DGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR i9H3-84

BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SiJPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTT~,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as foZlows:
1. That the tab~1atian af antic~pa~ed revenues and proposed ~xpend~-
tures for ~~e f~scal year 1983-84 has been review~d and rev~sed ~ander the
d~rect~on af ~his Board, and naw confarms to its judgement as a praper preliminary
financia7 program ~or sa~d fiscal year and is hereby adopted as the "Proposed
Budget of the CoUn~y of Butte ~'ar the Fisca7 Year 1983-84."
2. The "Proposed B~dge~" sha71 be repraduc~d and a sufficiertt number
of budget docume~ts shall be prav~ded so that eacl~ taxpayer who desir~s may
obtain one, and a capy shail ~mmed~a~e1y be forwarded ~o ~he State Contro~ler by
~1~~ Audi tar.
3. The Clerk of the Board sha~~ forthwith publ~sh a notice ance in a
newspaper o~F general c~rcuiation stating tha~:
{a) The "Proposed Budge~" documents are avai1abl~ to taxpayers
r~questing them.

July 20, i983 at 10:00 a.r~. in the Soar~ af Supervisors room, ~n ~1~e Gounty
Admin~stration Center, 25 County Center Drive, in tf~e City o~' Orov~ll~, Caunty
of Butte, State of Ca~ifornia, for ~he purpose of fixing ~he final budge~ and
any taxpayer may appear therea~ and be heard r~garding the increase, decrease
ar omiss~on af any i~ems af th~ Budge~ or for the inclusion of add~tiona~ ~~ems,
all ir~ accardanc~ with S~c~ion 29,066 a~ ~he Government Code of'the 5~a~e of
Ca~i~ornia.
