CALIFORNIA STATE ~EPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES
FOR EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER SERVICES
WHEREAS, the County of Butte desires to enter into an agreement
with the State -epartment of Social Services fot Emergency Food and
S~elter ServiCes; and
WHEREAS, the Caunty of Butte has been targeted to receive an
award of $37,325 for the purpose of providing these services; and
WHER~AS, the purpose of the award is to provide food and
shelter to local, indigent and homeless citizens who are in need of
emergency food and temporary shelter;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte authorizes the Chair of the Board to execute an
Agreement, together with any amendments thereto, with the California
State Department af Social Services for the purpose of providing
emetgency food and shel~er services from July l, I983 through February
15, 1984, the amount of rhe p~oject being $37,325.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 12th day of July, 1983, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, Moseley, Saraceni, Wheeler and Chazr Aolan
