RESOLI3TION ABANDONING A RIGHT-OF-WAY
This mattet came on regularly for hearing be~ore the r`
`~J
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
on July 25 , 1983, in the Board Chambers, Butte County
Administration Building, Otoville, California, and it appearing to
said Board that a Notice of Inter-tion and Resolution to Abandon A
Ri.ght-of-Way and Notice of Time and Place of Hearing of said Abandon-
ment was duly and regularly given as required by Iaw, and testimony
and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been produced at said
hearing, from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter described
right-of-way is unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT TS AEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the right-of-way sit~ated in the County of Butte,
Sta~e of California, as hereinafter more particularly ciescribed is
hereby abandoned.
2. T~iat the description of said right-of-way abandoned
is situated in the County of Butte, Srate of CaiifoTnia, and more
particularly described as follows:

Roa Ri~ht of Way
Being that certain 60-foot ~oad right of way known
as Olive Avenue Iying within the Northeast Quarter
of Section 9, T18N, R4E, M.D.M., also lying between
Blocks 67 and 74 of Palermo Citrus Tract Subdivision
No. 1 as shown on Map of Record,'Wall Map No. 3,
County of Butte, State of Califoxnia, being more
particulaTly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasrerly corner of Lot 7 of
Block 67, Palermo CitTUS Tract Subdivision No. 1, o
thence east 60 feet to the southwesterly corner of Lot ~
2 of said Block 74, Palermo Citrus Tract Subdivision ~
No. 1, thence North 660 feet to the northwesterly ~
corner of said Lot 2, B].ock 74, thence West 60 feet ~s
to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 7, Block 67, ~
thence South 660 feet to the point of beginning. m
Said Map showing the rigkat of way to be abandoned is ~
on file in the Office of Butte Coun~y Department oP
Public Works, No. 7 County Center Drive, OrovilLe,
California.

EXCEPTING AND RESERVING any existing easements and/or
rights at any time, or from time to time, to maintain,
operate, replace, remove, renew and enLarge the -
existing public uCility facilities and facilities
incidental thereto, including access to p~otect the
property from all ~azards, in, upon, and over the
highway herewith abandoned.
3. ThaC the Clerk of this Board sha11 cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Bu~te, State of California, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State o€ California.
