1tiHEREAS, heretofore, on the 2lst day of June, 1983, the Board
of Snpervisors ot the County of Butte, State of Caiifornia, adopted
an:d passed a resalution of notice of intentian to establish a
caunty service area, and
~VHER~AS, sai.d resolution fixed the 9th day of Augus~, 1983
at 10:30 a.m. of said day in the Board o£ Supervisors Roam o~ the
County Administration Center in Oroville, State of Californi.a,
as the time and place for the public hearing on the establishment
of said area~ and tlie assessment af a service charge, and
WHEREAS, no written protest against the establishment
there~or were filed, in accordance witl~ Sectiqn 25210.17 pf the
Government Code,

given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and determines
~hat the services described in resolution of intention to the
extent they are enumerated, are extended county services.
2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said
county service area.
3'. ` ThaL the boundaries of said service area are hereby
finalZy deteririined and established to be the same as ~hose shown
in Exhibit A attached here and incorporateci herein by reference
and made a part hereof by this resolution.
4. That the name of said service area so establzshed is
County Service Area No. 87 (Upper Mud Creek).
5. That the type of extended county service to be provided
within said area:-is storm drainage maintenance.

purposes~,subject only to compiiance with the reauiremenCS of
Chapter 8, Part 1, Division Z, Title 5 of the Government Code,
