WIIEREAS, the Board of 5upervisors of the County of Butte intend
to consider proposal for tne estaulishment of a county service area for
the alleviation of flood and highz~ater problems, the boundaries of which
are hereinafter d.escribed.

ngency Formation Comnission in accordance ~rith t~ie ~:nox-Nesbit Act,
beginning with Gover~~ment Code Section 54773, for estaUlisliment of
County Service Area No. 89 the exterior boundaries of the proposed
s~rvice area are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto ~.nd macle a
part }iereof;bj~ this reference.
2. Establishment o~ said service area is proposed uncler
County 5ervice Area Law (Chapter 2.2, Part 2, Division 2, Title 3 of
the Government Code be6inna.ng ~aith Section 25210.1}. The type of
extended service proposeci to be provided is s'torm drainage.
3. Tlie Clerk of the ~3oard is autkiorixe~ and dixected to
fiie a certified copy of this resolution with the Executive Officer of
the Butte County Local A~ency Formatzon Commission.
