UNDER THE GENERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, a report with recommendations was prepared by the
Department of Social Welfare of the County of Butte and is supported by
factual data showing the actual costs of necessary support for indigent
persons within the County of Butte;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Baard as fo~lows:
1. That after review of the recommendations by the
Department of Social Welfare of the Couney of Butte this Boaxd fznds
the following payment levels should be established far indigent
persons within the County of Butte:
(1) Shelter $8b.00
(2} Utilities 20.00
(3) Food 87.00
(4) Personal Needs 4.00
(5) Transportation 5.00
TOTAL GRANT: $202.00
2. That the Department of Social Welfare of the County of
Butte is directed to continue to monitor required levels of general
assistance and to report to this Board on an annual basis its findings
and recommendations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution 83-05 heretofore
adopted by the Board of Supervisors on January 18, 1983 is hereby
rescinded.

AYES: Supervisors Moseley, SaLaceni, Wheeler, and Chair polan
