RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF ItONALD MAX
WHEREAS, Chis Eoard was grieded to lear.n of the death of Ron Max, and;
WHEREAS, Ron Max served the ciCizens of the County of Butte as a member
of the Butte County Planning Commission From 1978 to 1982; and
WHEREAS,.ROa Max was Che Eotmez northern director for the California SCate
Planning Commissionet's Association, served as Chairman o£ the Board of Di,rectocs of
the Paradise Recteation and Park ~isttict, and was a member oE the fotmer Paradise
Municipal Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, Ron Max has been active fn various community groups, including
1983 Chairman of Yhe Paradfse Gold Nugget Uays, President of the Paradise Little
Lea~ue and a member o£ the Paradise Economic Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT ItESOLVED as follows:
1. That this Board hereby memorializes its appreciation fos the many
years oE unselfish devotion and outstanding service rendered to the citizens of the
CounYy oE Butte by Ron Max duting his lifetime.
2. That this Boacd wishes to express to the family of Ron Max its
deepest and heartfelt condolences on theix loss.
PASSED AND,ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 6th
day of September, 1983, by the following vote:
AYES: 5upervisors Fulton, Moseley, Saraceni, Wheeler and Chair polan
