RESOLUTION MAKING APPLICATION TO THE BUTTE COUNTY
LOCAL AGENCY FORMATiON COMMISSION REGARDING REMOVAL
OF SERVICES IN COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 26 (STORM DRAINAGE)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of t~e County of Sutte,
iz~tends to consider a proposal for elimination of sCOrm drain
maintenance and related services in County Service Area No. 26,
the boundaries of which have previously been esfab~ished; and
WHEREAS, no praceedings for the removal of su~h servi~es
shall be instituted by this Board or requested by its members unCil
approval of the Lacal Agency Formation Commission is first obtained;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supexvisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. Appiication and a proposal is hereby made to the Local
Agency Formation Commission for the elimination of storm drainage
maintenance and related services. The exterior boundaries vf
Co~nty Service Area No. 2b are described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
2. The proposed type of service Co be eliminaCed is
drainage maintenance, righr of way and easement acquisition,
engingeering, fencing and culvert installation and retention basin
acquisitian.
3. The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized
and directed to file a cereified copy of this Resolution with the
Executive Officer of rhe Bu~ee County Local Agency Formation
Comm~ssion.
