Har.ris, and others, requesting the abandonment of a public utility
easement; and
WHEREAS, pur.suant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Divfsion 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
for a hear.ing on the petition for. abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on November ~5 , 1983, at 10:00 a,m., in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Buiiding, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be held on t~e abandonment of the
following described, easement:
Kelly Ridge Estates, Unit 2B
Loe 99, Public Utility Easement
Being that certain 6-foot public utility easement lying
within a portion of the so~th 1/2 of Section l, T19N,
R4E, MDM, as shown on the map on Lot 99, Kelly Ridge
Esatates, Unit 2B, recorded in Book 43 Maps of Record
at Pages 27 to 29, County of Butte, State of California,
more particularly described as follows:
Being that certain 6-foot public utility easement lying
southwesterly of and contiguous to the northeasterly
1ot line of said Lot 99, beginning at the southeasterly
corner of said Lot 99; thence N 27° 37' 16" W, 143.71
feet to the northeasterly corner of said Lvt 99.
Excepting there~ram the northwesterly 20 feet lying
within the 20-foot building setback line.
Also excepting therefrom the southeasterly 35 feet
lying within the 35-foot publzc utility easement.
The map showing the 6-foot public urility easement to
be abandoned is on file in the offi~e of Butte County
Department of Public Works, #7 County Ceneer Drive,
Oroville, Califotnia.

2. That a map showing said portion of said public utility
easement to be abandoned is on file at the Butte County Public Works
Depar,tment, 7 County Center. Drive, Oroville, California.
3. That this ~esolution be posted and published pursuant
to the pr.ovisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streets and Highway Code.

this 25th day of october , 1983, by the following vote:
